Interseccionale partners with Emzingo | U y USC for a wonderful project in Intersectionality in the workplace

Last week we completed a wonderful project in partnership with Emzingo & EmzingoU and USC Marshall School of Business as field partners, supporting Riya, Alyson, Justin, and Aryan for this year’s Global Social Impact course. Since January, this team has been working on a research about intersectionality and efforts towards diversity and inclusion in organizations, as well as where local business needs are focusing.

During our weekly sessions, we sought ways to achieve the objectives set, overcoming multiple obstacles. Finally the team surprised us with the final project presentation, filled with passion, including more than an extra mile, demonstrating incredible commitment to intersectional work in diversity and inclusion, as well as to the project.

Finally, I want to thank Mónica, the team coach during this project, for her dedication, experience, and passion in working alongside the team to achieve these spectacular results.

In a world where more and more people demand that their diversities – multiple, overlapped, and permanent – be respected, it is important to have an intersectional vision in our diversity and inclusion strategies to face the challenges posed by the current workforce.

We will have more updates soon. Meanwhile, we can only say thank you to this team for allowing us to accompany them on this path of diversity and inclusion.
